Description
Marina Bologni’s Cappuccino Spoon – Flexo synthesizes the functional characteristics of the spoon, enhances its sensual and ergonomic aspects, and results in a more engaging sensory experience.
Its soft shape brings back a “little tongue” that creeps into the cup and captures its flavors and scents.
The part that comes into contact with the hand of the user or bartender loses its rigidity as if the heat of the product changes the hardness characteristics of the material (steel), and conforms to the way it is used: the fingers immediately find their optimal position for use.
Its sinuous profile synthetically simulates the heat that comes from the product and carries it outside the cup itself. The bottom is curved just enough to follow the inner curves of the cup, so as to eventually collect any sugary cream that remains at the bottom.
The softness of the shape of the upper part allows you to place the teaspoon directly on the cup as well as on the saucer.
Made of polished stainless steel, with a single stamp.
Available in two versions, for espresso coffee, and for cappuccino.
Style by Caffè River
There is much to explore beyond coffee: a whole new experience is created specifically by taking care of the details. Shapes and colors, materials and surfaces succeed in enhancing perceptions and intriguing emotions.
A product of sublime quality needs to be consumed through utensils of equal worth. The coffee experience, combined with such an amazing style experience, becomes a ritual. We collaborate with proven creative designers to give birth to our unique objects. They are designed to meet the aesthetic need of the users through lines, colors, and geometries of the most impeccable stylistic terseness.
This is why we have undertaken a series of collaborations with successful designers.
In 2007, we initiated a workshop called “Riverberazioni” (Reverberations), in which designers like Enrico Azzimonti, Alessandra Baldereschi, Luisa Bocchietto, Marina Bologni, Roberto Giacomucci, Monica Graffeo, Gum Design, Joe Velluto, Lorenzo Palmeri, Alessandra Pasetti, Lucy Salamanca and ZP studio participated, designing – in collaboration and competition with each other – a series of objects aimed at making our coffee experience unique.
We then continued our collaboration with Marina Bologni who designed Flexo and Kylix (9 and 36) for us, and with Roberto Giacomucci who designed MaracaS, Sweetcase and Minisweetcase.
Among other things, MaracaS has been invited several times to participate in the Compasso d’Oro Award by ADI, the Association for Industrial Design.
